Helen Thomason

Thomason, Helen ?Nanny?, age 80, of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 14, 2005 at Brakebill Nursing Home. She was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church and was retired from University of Tennessee Medical Center. She enjoyed working puzzles and watching game shows on television. She went out of her way to help others and lived her life for God. She will be deeply missed and will live in our hearts and memories forever. Mrs. Thomason was preceded in death by her husband Willis ?Bill? Thomason, daughter Linda J. Garrett, and son Billy G. Thomason. She is survived by; her grandchildren: Edwin ?Keith? Garrett and his wife Natale; Michael ?Jason? Garrett and his wife Angela ?Angie?; great-grandchildren: Caleb, Kara, Lakin, Race, and Dakota Garrett, and Preslie Hammontree. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday at the Berry Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Gene Wood officiating.
