James C. (Jim) Jones

Jones, James C. (Jim) ?age 82, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at NHC-Ft. Sanders. He was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church and was retired from Square D. Company in Asheville, North Carolina. Jim also worked at Y-12 in Oak Ridge and was a member of the Knoxville Tri-County Lions Club and Colonial Heights United Methodist Men. Preceded in death by parents, James C. and Mabel Jones; son, Joe Edward Jones. Survived by loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Ruth Jones; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Carla Jones of Knoxville, Bob and Sally Jones of Fletcher, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Dan Stansberry of Halls, Janet and Ricky Stansberry of Powell; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Carl White of Seymour; sister-in-law, Mildred Wheeler of Paducah, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 4 PM, Colonial Heights United Methodist Church, Rev. Robert Countiss officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery on Monday for 12 Noon graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colonial Heights United Methodist Church Elevator Fund, 6321 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
