Dennis Harold Fernander

Dennis Harold Fernander, age 59 of Sevierville died Saturday March 26, 2005. He was retired E7 from the U.S. Army, where he served as an Air Defense Specialist. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and was a choir member. He participated in the Gatlinburg Chorale. Dennis was an all-american swimmer at the University of Miami, and was a coach of the Sevierville Stingray swim team. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mildred Fernander. Survivors: Wife: Nancy Fernander Son and daughter-in-law: Corey and Katie Fernander, of Sevierville, Garrett and Allison Fernander, of Louisville, KY Granddaughter: Chloe Fernander Sister and brother-in-law: Kay and Charles Poole Nephews: Ryan Poole, Justin and Beth Poole, Wesley Jeffers Nieces: Katie Poole, Libby Fennewald, Jackie Lewis Family and friends will meet 1:30 PM Wednesday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
