Wayne Elliott Kirby, Sr.

Kirby, Sr., Wayne Elliott ?born September 29, 1940, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2005. He was a member of the Church of God and a notary public for 23 years. Preceded in death by mother, Lulabelle Kirby and father, Charlie Kirby. He is survived by loving wife of 40 years, Willie Dean Kirby; daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Eugene Perry, Carla and Mark Cruze, Sherry and David Williamson; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne Jr. and Corena Kirby, Chuck and Sherrie Kirby, Steve and Michelle Kirby; brother, Ross Kirby; sister, Bernice Sprouse; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held 2 PM on Monday, Berry Chapel, Rev. Harvey Harman officiating. Interment will follow at New Gray Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eugene Perry, David Williamson, Mark Cruze, Eddie Ingle, Chris Williamson, Chuck Kirby and Dale Anderson, Jr. as a standby. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7-9 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
