JoAnne Matthews Gibson, age 70, of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry T. Gibson and father James Byrd Matthews, Sr. Survivors: Sons and daughter-in-law: Jerry and Yvonne Gibson, Joey Gibson Daughter: Jan Gibson Grandchildren: Matthew Gibson, Phillip Gibson Mother: Evelyn McCarter Matthews Brother: J.B. Matthews, Jr. and wife Shirley Special friends: Mary Gibson, Dicie Scates Special nieces, cousins, and friends The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dudley from St. Mary’s Hospice. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Wednesday in Shiloh Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Rev. Scott Andrews will officiate.
