Gertrude Weyels Kostik

Kostik, Gertrude Weyels ?age 93, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2005. She was a member of Gap Creek Christian Church. Gertrude was employed by TVA helping to relocate gravesites during the building of the Dams. She worked as a secretary at Johnson Bible College for President Alva Ross Brown, President R.M. Bell and current President Dr. David Eubanks. Preceded in death by parents, John Wesley and Anna Kramer Weyels; husband, Laurence Kostik; brother, Clarence Wesley Weyels. She is survived by brother, William Weyels of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; nieces, Dorothy Davis of Martinsville, Virginia and Mary Ann Durham of Dayton, Ohio. Family and friends will meet at Gap Creek Christian Church Cemetery on Friday for 2:00 PM graveside services, Philip Zook officiating.
