Artie Jane Lowe

Lowe, Artie Jane ?age 80, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at UT Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a loving mother. Preceded in death by husband, Cecil Lowe; parents, William and Melinda Miller; 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by children, Gerald (Diane) Lowe, James (Pat) Lowe, Jeanette (Ron) Tait, David (Carol) Childress; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Hancock, Blanche Breeden; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM, Rev. Gary M. Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Cemetery on Saturday for 10 AM interment services. Pallbearers will be: Junior Childress, Junior Wampler, Doug Johnson, Tom Miller, Ray Lyles and Nickolas Tait. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Miller, Oliver Wampler and Alex Tait.
