Ruth Smith

SMITH, RUTH C. of Knoxville passed away respectfully at home on Friday, March 11, 2005. She was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Maynardville. Preceded in death by husband; James R. Smith, son; James R. Smith Jr. and great grandson Jason Berg of California. Survived by daughter and son-in-law; JoAnne and Ken G. Gilroy, sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Theresa Smith, Terry and Linda Smith, grandchildren; Kenny Gilroy , Elizabeth Berg, Paul Brown, Jack Brown, Candace Copeland, Steve Smith, Stacy Lich, Brandi Pearson, Jason Smith, April McCarty, Joe and Russ Anderson, great grandchildren; Jessica Berg, Brad Smith,Eric Clevenger, Tristan Kinney, Chris Loveday, Alex and Kendall McCarty, and Haley Anderson, brothers; Junior, Carl and Kenneth Cook. Special loved ones Kimberly Hickman and Rob Sullivan. Special thanks to Dr. Craig Laman and staff, Alice Stout and housecall staff. Funeral services are on Sunday at 8:00 PM at Lynnhurst Chapel with Rev. Eddie Myers officiating. Interment is 11:00AM Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jack Brown, Jason Smith, Steve Smith, Brad Smith, Eric Clevenger, Todd Lich, Joe Anderson, and Rob Sullivan.
