Charles C. Moore

Moore, Charles C., age 85, of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 11, 2005 at UT Hospital. Veteran of the US Army serving during World War II. Retired from Patent Button Company with 42 years of service. Attended New Hope Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents and brother Clyde Moore. Wife Ruby G. Moore; daughter Shirley Caughorn and husband Roy; son Darrel Moore; grandchildren: Roy Caughorn, Jr. and girlfriend Stephanie Daniels; Tambra Caughorn; great-grandchildren Charles Caughorn, Bradley Caughorn; nephews Don, Jerry, and Little Charles Moore. Funeral service Monday, 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Charles Hamilton officiating. Family and friends will meet at the Rotunda at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 PM Tuesday for interment services. Pallbearers will be Don, Little Charles, Jerry, and Darrel Moore; Roy Caughorn and Charles Caughorn. Full military honors will be presented by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
