Glen P. Case, Sr.

Case, Sr., Glen P. ?age 61, of Seymour, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at his home. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of Bells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was choir director for many years. Glen was an avid fisherman and was an active CB operator known as the ?Hometowner? since 1968 and a Ham radio operator (KG4CCE) since 1999. He served with the United States Navy on the USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam War. He worked in the insurance business since 1968 in both life and health fields, winning many achievements. Glen loved to sing and blessed many people with his talent. Preceded in death by parents, James (Jim) and Bertha Case; brothers, James Jr. (Jimmy) and Jack Case. Glen is survived by wife of 38 years, Pat Case; son and daughter-in-law, Glen (Paul) Jr. and Kristen Case and grandson, Matthew; daughter and son-in-law, Christa (Tuti) and Peter Chesnutt and granddaughters, Rachael and Laura; sister, Marie Case Crowe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Barbara Case, Bill and Eula Case; sisters-in-law, Mayme Case, June Fox, Joyce Case; many other relatives and more friends than we could list. Special thanks to St. Mary's Hospice; Dr. Bruce Avery and staff; and Dr. Robert Alley. Friends may call at their convenience on Friday from 1 PM until 8 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, to pay their respects. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2 PM, Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the Naval Reserve Honor Guard. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 429, Seymour, Tennessee 37865 or to Providence Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 127, Seymour, Tennessee 37865.
