Millard Carwell Sketo

Ret. BTCM Millard Carwell Sketo, age 67 of Sevierville, died Wednesday, August 31, 2005. He was born May 9, 1938 in Bonifay, Florida. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 until 1983. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for the University of California and retired in 1995. He was preceded in death by his first wife Masako Cathy Sketo; parents James and Zillie Sketo. Survivors: Wife: Mary A. Sketo Daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Anthony Thomas Four grandchildren Brother and sister-in-law: J.L. and Betty Sketo of Florida Sister: Edna Payne of Denver, NC Sister and brother-in-law: Sarah and Paul Apostle of Port O’Conner, TX Several nieces and nephews Family and friends will meet 11 AM Tuesday in Marion Ownby Cemetery for graveside service and inurnment with military honors provided by American Legion Post # 104.
