Henry Wayne Headrick

Headrick, Henry Wayne, age 64, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at his home after years of complications with diabetes. He was strong, loved life, and fought hard. He retired with 20 years of service from the University of Tennessee as an Electrical Foreman. Member of Covenant Life Church, Lake City, TN. He will celebrate his 65th birthday September 7th with the Lord. Preceded in death by father, Albert Headrick. Survived by: Funeral Service 2:30 PM Friday, Berry Chapel Pastor Tony McAfee and Rev. Corky Alexander officiating Interment to follow at Fain Cemetery in Dandridge, TN In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant Life Building Fund, 227 Church Street, Lake City, TN 37769, which was so important to Wayne. He so looked forward to being able to attend church and to see the new church. Donations may also be made to Baptist Hospice, PO Box 22, Knoxville, TN 37901, who helped assist in his last few months of illness. Special thanks to Alice and Mary Ann of Baptist Hospice for their support. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
