Maxine Webster

MAXINE E. WEBSTER, age 91 of Fountain City passed away Sunday, August 28, at NHC Healthcare on Emerald Avenue. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and the Mary Sunday School class. She enjoyed visiting and ministering to her fellow class members. She was born in Holland, Michigan to Walter and Laura Hunt Estelle. She moved to Tennessee in 1946. Preceded in death by husband, Samuel J. Webster, brothers; Paul and Robert Estelle and sister; Marcia Dix. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Jon and Diane Hatfield of Auburndale, WI, daughters and son-in-law; Carol and James Lamon of Moulton, AL, Pam and Bob Nodine of Knoxville, and Debbie and Jim Crowder of Knoxville, granddaughters; Jessica DeGrave, Heather Ortiz, Patti Feimster, Jennifer Conner and Amber Cooper, and grandsons; Joe Hatfield, Bill Dyke, Elmer Dyke, Aaron Gorman , and Chris Crowder, great-grandchildren; Paige and Ashlee DeGrave, Nicholas Ludwig, Oscar and Leonora Ortiz, Jessica and William Dyke, Justin, Chandler, and Nathan Feimster, Jacob and Stephen Dyke, Preston Conner, Michael Gorman, and Jacob, Zach, and Andrew Cooper, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with grandson Elmer Dyke officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday by 9:45 AM at Greenwood Cemetery for a 10:00AM graveside service with Rev. Ron Mouser officiating. The family wants to thank Dr. Amy Rosine and the caregivers at Elmcroft Assisted Living, NHC Healthcare and Caris Hospice for their care of Maxine during her time at each home.
