Hammond, Katherine M., age 86, of Halls, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. She was formerly a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church of Mascot and retired from Hillcrest Nursing Home. Preceded in death by parents, Hester and Charles Mize, Sr., and brother, Charles Mize, Jr. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bill ?Bud? and Pauline Hammond, Bob and Paulette Hammond, Lynn and Darlene Hammond; grandchildren, Teddy Hammond, Katheline Sirman, Sean Hammond, Christian Hammond; great-grandson, Tristan Sirman. Graveside service 1:00 PM Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Wright officiating.
