Robert (Bob) Taylor Underwood

Underwood, Robert (Bob) Taylor -of South Knoxville, age 85, died Tuesday, August 9. 2005 at Baptist Hospital, Knoxville. Bob retired from Frito-Lay, Inc. and was a previous member of Island Home Baptist Church and presently a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Bob was preceded in death by daughter, Cheri Daun Lowry of Maryville, mother Ruth Underwood Swaney and brother Lynn Harold Underwood, both of Knoxville. He is survived by wife Bernice Goolsby Underwood, brother James Edward Underwood and his wife Dorothy Tindell Underwood, both Knoxville; daughters Dana Lynn Farrell and her husband Michael Farrell of Lenoir City and Debra Grae Underwood and her husband Tom Berry of Thomasville, GA; son-in-law Robert Samuel Lowry of Maryville; sister-in-law Betty Overton Underwood of Knoxville; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.. The family will receive friends at 2119 Maplewood Drive, Knoxville on Thursday, August 11 from 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Rev. Don Wilson will officiate at a graveside service on Friday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Island Home Baptist Church cemetery.
