Roy Whaley, 70, of Seymour passed away Monday August 8, 2005. He was a member and co-chairman of Deacons at Oak City Baptist Church, member of Gideons International, Seymour Camp, messenger for the Sevier County Baptist Association, owner of B & R Machine Shop and a Korean Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Knaffl Whaley, and daughter, Kathy Whaley. Survivors: Wife; Anna Whaley Sons and daughters-in-law; Steve and Kathy Whaley Bill and Dianne Whaley Roger and Teresa Whaley Daughter and son-in-law; Janet and Rick Loveday Mother; Zaley Whaley Grandchildren; Brad and Missi Whaley, Stephanie and Brad Williams, Christy and Donnie Shular, Andrea and Mike Mullins, Jessica Loveday, Kelly Whaley, Kimberly and Casey Johnson, Tabatha and Jason Kozel, Sarena and Jeff Weaver, Devin Whaley Great grandchildren; Kalyn and Colton Whaley, Zoey and Eli Williams, Brittany Shular, Chandler and Abbi Mullins, Marcus Whaley, Joshua and Zackary Kozel, Caleb Weaver, Jacub Whaley Funeral service 11 AM Thursday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Rev.Tim Fleeger officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 104. Pall Bearers will be members of Gideon International, Seymour Camp. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Oak City Baptist Church Building Fund, 211 Main St., Seymour, TN. 37865 or Gideons International, P.O. Box 429, Seymour, TN. 37865.
