Jean Crowe

JEAN HACKNEY CROWE, age 76 of Fountain City, passed away at her home Sunday morning, August 7, 2005 following a lingering illness. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by grandson; Scott W. Gredig and parents; Mr. and Mrs. Ben L. Hackney Survived by husband Clifford M. Crowe Jr., children; Jeanie Jones, Patty and Mickey Long, and Clifford (Mac) Crowe III, sister; Jane Collett Smith, special granddaughter Jessie Crowe and Fianc?? Jared Weaver, special niece; Bronwyn Poston, and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Covenant Hospice Nurse Candice Mitchell for all the love and support of our family. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday evening with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Cliff Amos officiating. Pallbearers: Robert Todd Poston, Mickey Long, Luke Chandler, Judd Chandler, Jared Weaver and K.D Cook. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery for 11:00 AM graveside service on Thursday.
