KING, BERTIE (BENTLEY), age 88, of North Hills passed away Sunday, August 7, 2005 at Baptist Hospital. She attended Mtn. View Baptist Church. She was the last surviving child of Ida Bell Faulkner and William Bentley born October 21st, 1916. Preceded in death by granddaughter; Kim Quinton. Survivors include devoted daughter; Nancy Jean Davenport, grandchildren; Linda Serpas, from FL, Sherrie Lynch of Knoxville, great grandson; Chris Lynch of Knoxville, great-great granddaughter; Courtney Alexander Lynch, who brought joy and much laughter to MawMaw Bertie. Her favorite Bible verse was Romans 12: 17-21. She was a good influence and roll model for her nieces and nephews; Alfred and Carl West, Doris Rucker, Judy Terry, Roy Bentley, Charlsie Coker, Barbara Curington, George Hauther, Drury Franklin, Linda K. Cornwell, James Ray Bentley, Carol Ann Easterday, Anglea Holder, June Johnson, and Buddy King, brother-in-law Paul King and wife Stella. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Kent Williams and Rev. Mike Sagars officiating. Memorials donations may be made to Wallace Memorial Baptist Church or Johnson Bible Collage. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home,
