Trula Mae Berry

Berry, Trula Mae ?age 78, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2005. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 17, 1926, to Bert and Zola Smith. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Hobart Lee Berry; her brother, Bert Smith, Jr.; and her sister, Peggy Smith Young. She was a manager at Kay?s Ice Cream for over 25 years and most recently was a nurse?s assistant at Shannondale Healthcare Center. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandson, Noah. Those left to cherish her life are her longtime friend and companion, Joel F. Jennings of Powell; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Lee and Mary Virginia Berry of Knoxville; grandson and his wife, Stuart Wayne and Amy Suzanne Berry and great-grandson, Noah Mason Berry of Huntsville, Alabama; granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Berry of Knoxville; and many dear members of the Berry family and close friends. Friends are invited to join the family for graveside services at 1 PM on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Kingston Pike. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
