Coy Tarwater

Tarwater, Coy ?born February 2, 1908, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Asbury Place at Maryville. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Louisville. Mr. Tarwater was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed gardening and worked for Little River Creamery most of his life. Retired from Gene Monday Real Estate refurbishing property. Preceded in death by wife, Nora Allen Tarwater; daughter, Beatrice Wells and son, Clifford Tarwater. Survivors include daughters, Blendeane Mickelson and husband, William; Willie Lou Morris; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the 1 North staff at Asbury Place for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held 8 PM on Thursday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday for 2 PM for interment services. Pallbearers will be Michael Morris, Steve, Matthew and Thomas Robertson, Shane Winkle and Mike Pope. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beech Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1519 Topside Road, Louisville, Tennessee 37777. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
