Robert Harris

Harris, Robert Austin, age 52, of North Knoxville, began his eternal life with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 10, 2005, to walk the streets of gold, his Father?s hand to hold. Preceded in death by his father, Billy R. Harris and brother, Billy D. Harris. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Bobby, Steven, Summer, and Robin Harris, and Tina Ellis; his loving and devoted mother, Dorothy M. Harris; grandmother, Ida Moore; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Carol, Allen and Gail, Jeff and Molly Harris; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Bob Johnson, Maria and Tim Eastham, Sherry and Butch Wilson, Barbara and Willie Haworth, Rhonda and Tim Smelser, and Melinda and Eddie Crowley; grandchildren, Tyler, Cassie, Jason(P.P.), Annika, Trinity, Dezeray, and was awaiting the birth of the 7th grandchild in September; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the nursing staff of Baptist 6th and 7th floors, and hospice nurses, Heidi, Gail, and Alice, as well as Chaplain Phil Groos. Funeral services 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Dean Braden and Rev. Austin Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. The nephews will be pallbearers.
