Richard M. Byrd, age 49 of Sevierville, died Sunday, April 10, 2005. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Simon Byrd, father, Walter Byrd, and brother, Billy Byrd. Survivors: Daughter: Misty Byrd and boyfriend Sam Chaney, her mother Audree Byrd and her brother Jason Cavin Mother: Ellen Hurley Grandmother: Mayme Byrd Sisters and brothers-in-law: Wanda and Troy Alvey, Kathy and Randy Pointer Brothers and Sister-in-law: Ronnie and Brenda Byrd, Junior Hurley Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins Special nephew: Walter David Byrd Best friend: Steve Ivy Family and friends will meet 4 PM Wednesday at Burchfiel Memorial Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev.
