Roy Howard French

Roy Howard French, age 89, of Pigeon Forge, died Wednesday, September 29, 2004. He was retired from Carolina Trailways and was with the Union Local for 50 years. He was a member of the New Providence Masonic Lodge in Maryville for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and four sisters. Survivors: Wife: Lila Ann French of Pigeon Forge Son: Wayne French of California Daughter: Charlotte Wright of Virginia Grandchildren: Roger French of Texas, Robin Fahr of California, Ronnie Wright of Virginia, and Ricky Wright of Washington State Great-grandchildren: Dylan Fahr of California and Elisabeth Wright of Virginia Step-children: Kathy Vogan and husband Dick of North Carolina, Kay Smithwick and husband Roy of North Carolina, and George Ipock of Virginia Step-grandchildren: Kim and Mike Howard, Kevin and Melissa Vogan, Roy and Brande Smithwick, all of North Carolina Step-great-grandchildren: Jacob and Kayla Howard and Myranda Vogan, all of North Carolina Sister: Dorothy Meadows of Knoxville Special friends: Don and Bonnie Denney, Johnny and Marsha Wilson, Garland and Anabell Harmon Funeral service 7 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev.
