OAKS, MILDRED K. ? age 72 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at St. Mary?s Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith. Ms. Oaks was retired from Tom?s Foods, Inc. Preceded in death by parents, W. R. and Lula Oaks; Brother, Charles Oaks; sister, Lois Smith; sister-in-law, Shirley Oaks and devoted friend, J. P. Williams. Survived by; brother, R. G. Oaks; brother-in-law, Allen Smith; sister-in-law, Barbara Oaks; nieces, Darlene Chambers and Kay Batts; nephews, Michael and Mark Smith, James and Wayne Oaks. Several friends and relatives. Funeral services 8 pm Friday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Kent Williams officiating. Family will receive friends 6 ? 8 pm Friday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel.
