Peter Veo Yon

Yon, Peter Veo, age 44 of South Knoxville, died at home after a brief illness on Tuesday, September 14, 2004. Preceded in death by father, Capt. Veo S. Yon, USMC. Survived by mother, Claire L. Yon; sister, Jane Yon; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Robert Sinko; nephews and nieces, John and Anne Sinko, Matthew Sinko, Georgia Sinko, Lydia Sinko and very special friend, Jan Eggers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm Saturday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 12:30 pm with Rev. Deron Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Clifford White, Thom Massey, George Ballenger, Chuck Harrison, Russell Carpenter, Robert Sinko, John Sinko and Matthew Sinko. Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway is serving the family.
