Cecil R. West

West, Cecil R., age 81, of Knoxville, passed away September 4, 2004 at NHC. Member of Knoxville Primitive Baptist Church and retired from the University of Tennessee Maintenance Department. Preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Pat West. Loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Betty Burnett West; two sons, G. Ray West and wife Diana and J. Stanley West; two grandsons, Michael R. West and wife Tiffany, Richard T. West and wife Kimberly; two step-grandsons, J. Gavin Mabe and wife Kelli, and Ryan B. Mabe; five great-grandchildren: Ashley, Thomas, Brittany, Zachary and Nicholas West; many devoted brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral service Monday, 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Eugene Wilder officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Bakers Cemetery for interment services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help defray medical and funeral expenses c/o K-25 Credit Union. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
