JONES, UNIS (BOONE) age 77 of Halls, passed away Wednesday September 1, 2004 at St. Mary?s Residential Hospice. Member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. He was retired from State of Tennessee Department of Revenue and later worked as a ?Red Coat? at the Civic Coliseum. He was a 50 year member of LaFollette Lodge F&AM.; He was a Veteran of U.S. Army. Survived by wife of 54 years, Anna Smith Jones; daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Scott Lawson; son, Terry Jones; grandsons, Patrick and wife Caroline Lawson, Matthew Lawson, Zachary Lawson, Bradley Jones; granddaughter, Kelsie Jones; great granddaughter, Madeline Lawson, all of Knoxville; brothers, Wayne Jones of Knoxville, Clifton (Tip) Jones of LaFollette, TN; sisters, Aileen Sharpe of Knoxville, Mary Goins of LaFollette, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 8 pm Thursday in the Chapel with Rev. Lee Kidwell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel at 10 am Friday to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 10:30 am graveside service. Pallbearers; Patrick Lawson, Matthew Lawson, Zachary Lawson, Bradley Jones, R. J. Sharpe and Michael Hill.
