COOK, RONALD LEE, age 69 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday October 29, 2004 at St. Mary?s Hospice. Member of Strawberry Plains Presbyterian Church. He was retired from ASARCO after 38 years of service. Preceded in death by parents; George and Sarah Cook, Sr.; brother, George Cook, Jr.; wife, Donna Cook. Survived by; son, Michael Lee Cook of Irvine, KY; daughter, Reverend Chrystal Cook of Atlanta, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel and Ralph Greene, Martelia ?Tillie? and Earl Ketner; brother and sister-in-law, William and Madonna Cook; former wife and mother of his children, Nancy W. Cook; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Doris Cox. Stepdaughter Sheila Stone and three step-grandchildren. Several special neighbors on Longcress Dr and friends in the Hardee?s Thursday coffee club. Family and friends will meet on Monday at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11 am entombment service with his daughter, Reverend Chrystal Cook officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 ? 4 pm at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel. For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Mary?s Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pk, Knoxville, TN.
