Betty Pressley

Pressley, Betty Mae Garrett, age 72, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2004 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Pressley was retired from TVA. Preceded in death by parents, Emil Garrett and Louise McGinley Theiling; infant sister, Carol Louise Garrett; and husband, William Lee Pressley. Survivors include son, William M. Pressley; daughter-in-law, Sharon Pressley; granddaughters, Leanne, Tracie, Melissa, and Sara Pressley; and grandson, Aaron Waggoner; aunt, Ruth Marler and family; cousins, Wayne and Ruth Brown; and friends include the ladies of Adiel Temple #147 of Knoxville. Special thanks to the staff of the Cancer Center at UT Hospital, the Pastoral Care Staff at UT Hospital, the staff of the St. Mary?s Holston Health Care Center and Hospice Unit, and the Chaplains of St. Mary?s Hospice Unit. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 PM Tuesday with a Memorial Service at 8:00 PM at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Chaplain David Holt officiating.
