Dawes, William Joe (Billy), age 50, of South Knoxville, passed away Friday, October 22, 2004 at Baptist Hospital. Employee of Tennessee Roofing Company. Preceded in death by first wife Patricia Dawes. Wife Brenda Dawes; sons, Tony Hurst of Lenoir City; Shaun Dawes of Knoxville; mother Mary Robinson and step-father Paul Robinson of Knoxville; grandchildren: Trystan Hurst, Garrett Hurst; four step-grandchildren; three step-children: Jessica, Stephanie, and LeAnn; sister, Jeannie Norton of Union County; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday, 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Glenn Bo Savage officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Cemetery at 1:00 PM Tuesday for interment services, Rev. Gene Seals officiating. Family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
