Buford O. Whited, age 81, of Sevierville, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife: Ruth Whited Daughter: Donna Lea Bond and husband Hank Grandchildren: Erika, Cheyenne, Ryan, Emily, and Elias Great grandchildren: Joshua, Sierra, and Piper Brother: Fred Whited Sister-in-law: Naomi Whited Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Violet, Agnes, Virgil Hutsel, Robert, Don, and their families Numerous nieces and nephews Best friend: Abe Manuel Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel with Elder Harold Hunt and Elder Larry Barker officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
