Anna Mae Chasteen

Chasteen, Anna Mae ?age 93, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2004. She was a longtime member of Armonia Baptist Church. Anna Mae?s hobbies included selling Avon and she enjoyed working in flowers which led her to accomplish certification in flower arranging. She was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, James M. Chasteen. She is survived by sons, Marvin J. Chasteen and wife, Dorothy, Ronald D. Chasteen and wife, Wanda, Don A. Chasteen and Cathy Thurman; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and one very special baby. She is also survived by brother, Lawrence and sisters, Bonnie and Mary. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service at 8:00 PM with Rev. Howard Hurst officiating and Rev. Steve Tuck officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM on Friday at Berry Funeral Home and will proceed to Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa Highway, for 2:00 graveside services.
