Robert Wesley Terry, Jr.

Terry, Jr., Robert Wesley ?age 67, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2004 at his home. Mr. Terry was a founding member of Asbury Church of Christ, where he loved to lead singing. He was retired from UPS after 28 years of service. Preceded in death by father, Robert Terry, Sr.; sister, Rhonda Kirby; and great-granddaughter, Keri Anna Harper. He is survived by wife of 51 years, Claudette; children, Teresa and husband, Frank Combs of Arnold, Maryland, Bob and wife, Kaye Terry, Jim and wife, Sharon Terry, Charlotte and husband, David Giles, all of Knoxville, Tennessee; mother, Hazel Terry; grandchildren, Jessica Jones and Benjamin Combs of Arnold, Maryland, Beth Harper, Jamie Taylor, Jennifer Marohn, Sarah Terry, Taylor and Bailey Giles, all of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Katlin Harper and Abigail Taylor; and brother, Jess Terry. Funeral service will be held 11 AM on Thursday, Asbury Church of Christ, with Minister Kirk White presiding. Interment service will follow at Asbury Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ben Combs, Ben Taylor, Michael Marohn, Chuck Harper, David Giles and Frank Combs. Honorary pallbearers will be: George Dees, Don Palmer, Charlie Osborne and John Lewis. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
