Anna Mae Ward

Anna Mae Ward, age 97, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2004. A former resident of Sevierville, Mrs. Ward enjoyed gardening, flowers, and being with her family. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Ray Ward, parents Charles W. and Ada (Henry) Sims, sons William and Charles Ward, sisters Lucy Whaley and Nina Williams, and brother W.C. “Bub” Sims. Survivors: Daughters: Nina Ward and Charlotte Wise, both of Elkhart, IN Son: Robert Ward of Chicago, IL 6 grandchildren 7 step-grandchildren 9 great grandchildren Daughter-in-law: Joanne Ward of Clarksville, TN Funeral service 7 PM Friday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. John Sims officiating. The family will have a private graveside service and interment in Alder Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
