David C. Ownby

David C. Ownby, age 49 of Cosby, died Sunday, November 14, 2004. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a master woodcarver. Survivors: Wife: Teresa Ownby Daughter: Robin Michelle Ownby Grandson: Cody David Blassingame Parents: Glen and Betty Ownby Grandmother: Anna Mae Carver Siblings: Glenda Price, Della Eastin, Wayne, Lynn and Harold Ownby, Diane Ownby, Chris Ball (special nephew) Sisters-in-law: Belinda Helton, Eileen Grooms Special aunt: Evelyn King Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Ownby and Rev. Frank Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Valentine Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
