Mayford Lynn Julian

Julian, Mayford Lynn ?age 61, of South Knoxville, passed away at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, November 11, 2004. Mayford was a graduate of Young High School and had served in the United States Army. For several years, Mayford served with the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department and served as chief in the 1980?s. He attended Valley Grove Baptist Church and was employed by Knox Trailers, Inc. for 17 years. Mayford was an avid hunter and fisherman with a great love for the outdoors. Preceded in death by parents, Edna and Horace Julian and beloved aunt and uncle, Orvill and Neva Julian. He is survived by wife, Wanda Lusk Julian; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Travis Young; sons, James ?Jay? Garrison, Andrew Garrison and wife, Chrissy; grandchildren, Kailey Garrison, Savannah and Trevor Young; brother, Nolan Julian; mother-in-law, Juanita Lusk and devoted sister-in-law, Connie Ogle. Funeral service will be held 3 PM on Sunday at Valley Grove Baptist Church, Old Sevierville Pike, with Dr. Bobby Tucker officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Burnette, Ed Morris, David Franklin, Mike France, ?Doctor? Al Leitch, Will Cogdill and honorary pallbearers will be the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department. Interment will be at Highland South Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church Family Life Center, 9000 Old Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.

i miss u and u were the best neighbor and i used to love coming to miss wandas to see u..u used to put the biggest smile on my face..i love u and miss u alot even though i didnt see u or know all that much...love you
