Jean Maples Baker, 72, of Pigeon Forge went home to be with her Lord on Sunday November 7, 2004. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Baker; parents, Lawson and Mary Maples; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: Husband: Eddie Baker Sons: Gary Baker and wife Vickie, John Baker and wife Carol Grandchildren: Joseph Baker and wife Jessi, David, Caity, Logan, and Morgan Baker Great grandson: Joseph Baker, Jr. Sisters: Ruth Goody and husband Robert of California, Kate Cole, Maude Millard, Betty Pittsenberger of Pennsylvania Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge. Rev. Curtis Wells and Rev. Bill Maples will officiate. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
