Harlan Williams

Harlan Williams, age 69 of Seymour passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2004. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and papaw. Harlan was a member of Providence Baptist Church, a Veteran of US Army. He was a retired field superintendent of Odom Construction System and was a 30 year employee of Anning and Johnson Construction Company. He was preceded in death by son Michael Wayne Williams, father Otha Williams, mother Eleecy Williams, brothers Herbert, Riley, Roscoe, and Herman Williams. Survivors: Wife: Lucreta (Thomas) Williams Son and daughter-in-law: Mickey and Angel Williams Daughters and sons-in-laws: Karen and Jeff Matthews, and Kellie and Tony Widner. Grandchildren: Sara and Cody Matthews, Danial, Maria, and Joseph Widner. Clarisa, Faith, Blaine Williams and Cherish Widner Sisters: Trula Dinkins, Laura Matthews and Nora Rolen Brothers: Winfred, Charles and Curtis Williams Funeral service 7PM Thursday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Dallas Gibson and Rev. Troy Cody officiating. Interment 11AM Friday in Providence Cemetery.
