MONROE, BARBARA A. age 54 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday , May 27, 2004, at home. Member of Hansard Chapel United Methodist Church. Retired from UT Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond G. and Helen Best VanDeGriff; brother, Sonny VanDeGriff Survived by husband, Vaughn W. Monroe; daughters and sons-in-law Amy and Keith Weaver of Covington, GA, Michelle and Marty Solomon, of Knoxville; grandson, Ryan Weaver. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8 pm Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Perry Mason and Rev. Herman Faddis officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Saturday. Interment at 2 pm Sunday at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery. Those wishing to make donations can make them to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909.
