CROSS, LLOYD DAVID, age 60, of Powell, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Baptist Hospital. He was a Baptist. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, Papaw and long time employee of Family Homes in Powell. Wife, Gay Galyon Cross; daughter, Kimberly Cross Ward and husband Garry of Coalfield; daughter Nikki Cross Long and husband Michael of Lawrenceville, GA; son, Mike Cross and wife Shanna of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jessica Purdom, Jennifer Purdom, David Ward, Allison Ward, Samantha and Adam Long, Emily Cross; special nephew Jack Cross, Jr. and wife Nancy. 4 nieces, 2 nephews. Funeral service Friday 8:00 PM, Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Rev. Dewey Cooper officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery Saturday at 11:00 AM for interment services.
