William Kenneth (Ken) Haynes

Haynes, Mr. William Kenneth (Ken), age 86, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, May 24, 2004 at his home. He was born in Knoxville on March 12, 1918 to parents, Myrtle Cruze Haynes and William Henry Haynes. He was married to Beth White Haynes who died in 1996. He attended Knoxville Catholic High School and Knoxville Business College. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mr. Haynes was a devoted father of five children; grandfather of 11; and great-grandfather of 4. He was a retired manufacturer?s representative and an avid University of Tennessee sports fan. He will be greatly missed by daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Steve Lucking, Sheila and Larry Rauen, Cindy and Roger Dunn, and Beth and George Walker; son, Kenneth M. Haynes and his special friend Grace Dadoyan. Also survived by siblings, Virginia Ezell, Richard, Randall and Eugene Haynes. The family wishes to thank St. Mary?s Hospice and Mrs. Mattie Lyons for their kindness and support. Graveside service Wednesday, 3:00 PM, Mount Olive Cemetery, Father Jim Haley officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
