Glenda Sue Blalock

Glenda Sue Blalock, age 60 of Sevierville died Saturday May 22, 2004 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Glenda taught school in Sevier County for 37 years. Many children were very much loved by her. Teaching school was her joy in life. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Dan and Ruth Blalock, two sisters, Faye Graham and Ora Blalock, and a nephew Dan Wilson Graham. Survivors: Siblings: Ila and Serene Leatherwood, Nancy Butera, Albert and Aileen Blalock, Anna Blalock, Dan Blalock Nephews: Al Blalock, Clark and Sherry Blalock, Tim Blalock Special Friends: Louise and Mike Patterson and their family Funeral service 7PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Hudson Chesteen and Rev. Roy Berrier officiating. Family and friends will meet 10AM Wednesday at Red Bank Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
