Otto J. Frimel

Frimel, Otto J., age 84, of Knoxville, formerly of Odin, Illinois, passed from this life into life everlasting on Friday, May 14, 2004. He was retired as a Master Sergeant with United States Air Force having served during World War II and the Korean War. He was also an Illinois State Trooper. He was a longtime member and elder of First Christian Church of Odin, Illinois and also a member of West Towne Christian Church in Knoxville. He was Past Master of Odin Lodge 503, AF&AM; and member of Scottish Rite and Ansar Shrine. He was preceded in death by parents and brothers and sisters. Cherished family: loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Marge Frimel; daughters and sons-in-law, Susie and Roy Gibson of Neoga, Illinois, Christie and Ivan McDaneld of Knoxville; grandchildren, Doug and wife, Christy Gibson of St. Charles, Missouri; Lori Mills and husband, Cort of Gray, Tennessee; Tony McDaneld and wife, Holly of Knoxville, Tennessee; Lynne Weston and husband, TJ of Knoxville, Tennessee; Gena Edwards and husband, David of St. Mary?s, Georgia; and 12 precious great-grandchildren. Funeral service 7:00 PM Saturday, West Towne Christian Church, George Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday at West Towne Christian Church, 9300 Middlebrook Pike. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
