Hamilton, Ruby Jo, age 75, of Knoxville, born May 15, 1928, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Preceded in death by parents, Ben and Julia Knight Walker. Husband of 59 years, Elmer Hamilton; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Linda Hamilton of Seymour; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Sam Hood of Knoxville; daughter, Judy Hamilton of Nashville; sister, Juanita Hamilton and husband, Gerval of Knoxville; brother, Ralph Walker and wife, Lily of Deltona, Florida; grandchildren, Jody, Jeffery, Jamie, Karen, Keenan, Kasey, Misti and Matt; great-grandchildren, Chad, Lyndsi, Morgan, Jeremy, Stephanie, Caroline, Carter, Jalen and Harper. Funeral service 8:00 PM Friday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. George Gilbert and Rev. Claude Ramsey officiating. Family and friends will meet at Stock Creek Cemetery Saturday for 3:00 PM graveside services. Grandsons and great-grandson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
