Clarence Martin Matthews, age 90 of Sevierville died Wednesday, May 5, 2004. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sevierville. Survivors: Wife of over 50 years: Ora Mae Matthews Niece and nephew: Pat and Jim Wilder Brother-in-law: Roy W. Mathews Sister: Kate Mantler Sister-in-law: Opal Sabo Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 10 AM Saturday in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, Pigeon Forge with Brother William Nichols officiating. Entombment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens with military honors provided by American Legion Post # 104. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Friday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel ,220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
