Jack A. McMurray

McMurray, Jack A., age 81, of Seymour, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at home. Member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Founder and co-owner of Seymour Hardware. Preceded in death by father, Samuel; mother, Minnie; brothers, Samuel, Gilbert, and Cecil; sisters, Johnnie McCroskey, Nancy Chapman, Janie Clemons, Edith Hatcher and Mary Coleman. Wife, Pauline J. McMurray; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Brenda McMurray; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Ron French; grandchildren, Heather Aistrop, Ryan McMurray, Jackie French, Russell French; great-granddaughter, Katlyn Aistrop; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 PM Thursday, Valley Grove Baptist Church, Dr. Bobby Tucker officiating. Family and friends will meet at Eusebia Cemetery Friday at 11:00 AM for graveside services, Rev. Harry Mynatt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church Family Life Center, 9000 Old Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
