Johnson, Helen O. (Myers), age 80, of Etowah, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2004 at St. Mary?s Residential Hospice. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by husband, Jacob C. Johnson; parents, Uary and Beulah Myers; brother, Earl Myers; sister, Juanita Mochitta; and sons-in-law, Derk Schutter and Jim Cox. Survived by daughters, Gwendolyn Elliott and husband Jack of Etowah, TN, and Tammy Schutter-Cox of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Dr. Jacqueline Elliott Carey and husband Kevin of Lexington, KY, Dr. Mitzi Elliott of Laurel Fork, VA, Kristopher Schutter and wife Carrie, and Elizabeth Schutter both of Gallatin, TN; great-grandchildren, Patrick and Adam Carey of Lexington, KY, and Madison Schutter of Gallatin, TN; sisters, Alma Gallie and Barbara Brown both of Knoxville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Buster Watson and Rev. Claude Ferguson officiating. Pallbearers are Kevin Carey, Kris Schutter, Dennis Chapman, Randy Sharp, Danny Smith, and Buster Watson.
