Lawrence S. Broome

Broome, Lawrence S. (Larry), age 85, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2004 after a brief battle with cancer. He was a retired construction electrician. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers, and one sister. Wife, Dorothy Broome; son, Ernie Broome and wife Judy; son, Don Dodson and wife Peggy; daughter, Vera LaFollette; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their heart felt gratitude to the staff of Sevier County Healthcare for their care and concern. Funeral service 8:00 PM Monday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Larry Ogle officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM Tuesday for the interment service. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
