Bertha M. Rogers

Bertha M. Rogers, age 79 of Seymour passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at Asbury of Maryville, after a lengthy illness. Bertha was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church, of Sevierville as long as her health permitted. She loved her Sunday School class---“The Faithful Workers.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Lula Mae McFalls, brother, Perman McFalls, father and mother-in-law, Tim and Ethel Rogers, nieces, Johnnie Ruth Davis and Kathy Ball, brothers-in-law, Charles Gibson and Wilson Rogers, sister-in-law, Betty McFalls. Survivors: Faithful Husband of 58 years: Jack Rogers Daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Mike Williams, all of Seymour Her Sonshine grandson: Roger Williams, of Strawberry Plains Sisters and brothers-in-law: Eula and Wayne Whaley Louise and Cleve Ogle Kate Gibson Margie and Fred Herron Carolyn McFalls Brothers and sisters-in-law: Junior McFalls Clell and Agnas McFalls Ronald and Anna McFalls Fred and Nellie McFalls Sister-in-law: Dorothy McFalls, all of Knoxville A loving family of Rogers in-laws, many cousins, nieces and nephews Funeral service 7PM Thursday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Ernie Coleman, Dr. Melvin Faulkner, and Rev. Jim Kelling officiating. Family and friends will meet 11AM Friday at Shiloh Cemetery, Pigeon Forge for graveside service and interment.
