Harry Theodore Hummer

Harry Theodore Hummer, age 80 of Seymour, passed away Friday, March 19, 2004. He attended Paratrooper School in Fort Benning GA. He was a member of 101st Airborne Division during the invasion of Normandy during WWII. After his faithful service to his country, he joined the Army National Guard and left as a Master Sergeant. Survivors: Wife: Anna Hummer Son and daughter-in-law: Gary Hummer and wife Peggy Daughters and Sons-in-law: Patricia Nadeau and husband Paul, and Barbara A. Simpson and husband Bob Grandchildren: Peter Daily Jr., April Ann Jones, and Vanessa Lynn Hummer Several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association East Tennessee Chapter, 2200 Sutherland Ave. Suite 102 Knoxville, TN 37919 Memorial service 6 PM Friday at Boyd’s Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM Friday at the church. A Fellowship reception will follow the service at the Keenland Farms Clubhouse.
